JLRE OS
Privacy policy
Last updated 4 October 2026
JLRE OS is the private property-management system of Jason Lange, Sales Consultant at Tommy's Real Estate, Wellington, New Zealand. It is used by Jason Lange alone; there are no public accounts. This policy covers what JLRE OS does with information from Google and YouTube. How the business handles information about buyers and sellers is set out in the privacy policy at jasonlange.co.nz/privacy.
YouTube API Services
JLRE OS uses YouTube API Services to post Jason Lange's own property videos to his YouTube channel, Jason Lange Real Estate, and to keep those videos in the right playlists. By using these features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
What JLRE OS accesses
- The ID and name of the YouTube channel that is connected, to show which channel it posts to.
- The channel's own list of uploads, only to check a property's video isn't already there before posting it.
- The channel's playlists, to add each video to "For sale in Wellington" and move it to "Sold by Jason Lange" when the property sells.
- The videos JLRE OS uploads itself, to update their title and description when a property sells.
It does not access comments, subscribers, analytics, messages or any other channel.
What JLRE OS stores
- A Google refresh token for the connected channel, kept on the JLRE OS server and never displayed or shared.
- The connected channel's ID and name.
- For each property, the ID of the YouTube video JLRE OS posted for it.
Nothing else from Google or YouTube is stored. JLRE OS uses one sign-in cookie for its owner and no tracking or advertising cookies.
What JLRE OS shares
Nothing. Information from Google or YouTube is never sold, shared or passed to anyone else. The videos JLRE OS posts are public on YouTube by design, because they advertise properties for sale.
Revoking access
Access can be withdrawn at any time with Disconnect in JLRE OS (Settings, Social posts, YouTube), which deletes the stored token and revokes it with Google, or from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Deleting data
Disconnecting deletes the stored token, channel ID and channel name straight away. To have the stored video IDs deleted as well, email jason.lange@tommys.co.nz; they are deleted within seven days. Videos already on YouTube stay on the channel until the channel's owner removes them in YouTube Studio.
